This week's menu

Have you looked at the selection of plums in your local market lately?  Right now must be the peak season because there are SO many delicious varieties available at a fabulous price.  Be sure to add fresh plums to your grocery list this week--you'll be plum happy!

Here's what's on our menu this week:

Sunday:  Bean and cheese quesadillas with sour cream for dipping, fresh plums

Monday: Broccoli-cheese stuffed chicken breasts, rosemary roasted potatoes, fresh fruit

Tuesday: Tomato soup and mozarella paninis

Wednesday: Spaghetti carbonara (one of my favorite pasta dishes!) and fruity spinach salad (My favorite fruity spinach salad is a bag of baby spinach, crumbled bacon, a can of drained mandarin oranges, dried cranberries and some toasted slivered almonds. I like it with ginger dressing while James prefers honey-mustard. Both dressings compliment it well.)

Thursday: Pork tenderloin and oven roasted vegetables

Friday: Spinach and feta quiche, cucumber salad, fresh plums

Saturday: We shall see!
