Hey folks! Are you enjoying the Autumn weather? It still doesn't feel like Autumn down here in Florida, but a girl can dream, right? I am already chomping at the bit to add all of the rich stews and soups that the season requires--I'll ignore the weather for now and just roll with it! Ready for a hearty fall menu? Here goes:
Spinach-cheese manicotti and spinach salad
Tuesday: Cranberry Bean Pasta Fagioli (I'll be substituting red kidney beans for the cranberry beans) and garlic bread
Wednesday: Leftover soup
Thursday: Rigatoni with Braised Chicken and Saffron Cream and poached pears
Friday: Split pea soup (from the freezer) with homemade bread
Saturday: Julia Child’s Boeuf Bourguignon (My first time making it! SO excited...)
Here's a hint for the Sweet Treat of the Week: It falls into the Autumn category, it's rich but tastes light, and you can serve it in many different ways. Any guesses?
